Jim is masterblender/Barrelworks manager at Firestone Walker Brewing Company, where he is responsible for all aspects of beer production at the Barrelworks location. Jim began his brewing career at SLO Brewing Co. in 1999 and became quality control manager at Firestone Walker in 2001 before being tasked to oversee the Barrelworks division. Barrelworks is now home to more than 2,000 wine barrels and 18 wood tanks all filled with beer in different stages of maturation.
