Julie Wartell has 25 years of experience in field research, technical analysis, and GIS mapping work on urban, crime, and community issues throughout the country. She has studied, collected data on, and mapped brewery growth for the last 15 years. Julie is adjunct faculty in UC San Diego’s Urban Studies & Planning Program, teaching courses on mapping as well as craft breweries and the urban economy.
