Doug Hindman started his craft brewing career in 1994 and moved to Elliott Bay Brewing Company as head brewer in 1997. He opened two additional brewpubs with EBBC and now oversees brewing operations at all three locations. He has been active over the years as a board member of the WA Brewers Guild, the WA Beer Commission, and MBAA District NW. He is launching a food safety consulting service in 2018 for craft alcohol beverage producers.
