Thorsten Geuer served his apprenticeship at the Hofbräu Früh brewery in Cologne, Germany and received his master brewer diploma from the renowned VLB institute in Berlin. He joined Bayern Brewing in Missoula, Mont. in 2002 and is responsible for the brewing process, packaging, and supply chain management. Bayern Brewing purchased a bottle washer in 2012 and, under Thorsten's supervision, grew a return bottle program (Bayern's Ecoleague) that provides between 40 to 60 percent of glass required.
