After obtaining his physics degree from the University of Southern Maine, Merritt Waldron combined his passion for science and craft beer as quality control specialist at Rising Tide Brewing in Portland, Maine. Merritt has grown Rising Tide’s QC/QA program as fast as the barrels are produced. He is a past presenter at the New England Craft Brew Summit and is currently collaborating with the University of Southern Maine’s QC2 program on several projects.
