Alex is the Director of Wine, Beer & Spirits at Bay Area-based Cost Plus World Market where he is responsible for all aspects of the beverage business, including marketing, merchandising and product selection for the Company’s 270+ stores in 33 states. He previously ran the wine, beer & spirits categories for east coast-based chains Best Cellars and the A&P family of Supermarkets before relocating to California. Alex is a graduate of Georgetown University and holds a Level 3 Advanced Certificate from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET). He enjoys session IPA’s and the occasional chocolate stout.
