Michelle Gooding is a sixth generation hop farmer from Parma, Idaho where, alongside her father Mike and sister Diane, she farm 900 acres of hops. Additionally, she represents Idaho on the Hop Industry Plant Protection Committee and is the manager of the Idaho Hop Commission public breeding and research plot, where she focuses on improving sustainable farming practices and evaluating public varieties in Idaho’s unique terroir conditions.
