Session Beer: Brewing for Flavor and Balance

Karl F. Dean Ballroom C (level 4)

While session beers can be challenging to brew, they present many opportunities to showcase a brewer's skill as well as the flavorful and refreshing qualities of the beers themselves. A good session beer, whose moderate strength invites more than one round, requires high brewing standards to achieve balance and drinkability. A panel of brewmasters responsible for brewing some of the world's greatest session beers will gather and discuss the process and delicate art behind session beer production.
