Yvan De Baets is master brewer and co-owner at Brasserie de la Senne in Brussels, Belgium. He completed his brewing education at the Meurice Institute for Brewing and Malting Science in Brussels, where he now teaches the history of beer and brewing. He is also a beer writer, specializing in ancient Belgian brewing techniques, and a lecturer. Yvan judges in several international beer competitions including the World Beer Cup.
